PR Associate
Newmark Group is seeking an energetic and ambitious PR Associate to join our growing team in the Lagos office. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Public Relations, working with dynamic clients and a passionate team. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter eager to learn the fundamentals of PR, communications, media relations, and event management.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Support – Assist in day-to-day account management by supporting client communications and maintaining contact lists.
- Content Development – Draft media briefs, press materials, and social media content under supervision.
- Media Engagement – Research and track media opportunities, update media databases, and support media outreach efforts.
- Event Support – Help organize and coordinate PR events, including logistics, guest lists, and follow-up.
- Research & Reporting – Conduct market and media research, compile monitoring reports, and provide insights for client projects.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with senior team members to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and projects.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in media, storytelling, and digital platforms.
- Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in PR/communications is an added advantage.
